The entrance of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located on the Main Concourse Level of Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal, inside Vanderbilt Passage.

All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.

Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee

  • Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
  • Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
  • Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
  • There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.
  • All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. Highly recommended. The view is breathtaking! However, the ticket control was poorly organized. My ticket was checked three times and all the employees seemed very stressed. Also the windows were partially dirty.

I had no problem with the time, access was quite fast, but the place was clearly overcrowded..everyone says it's the perfect place to take nice pictures, but it's not like that because the windows were dirty and full of fingerprints.. if you could find a free space near the glass. it would be necessary to allow access to only a small number of people and then have the room cleared after the set time, but I guess you care more about profit.. My low score is only about that because I loved the view, the place and the light effects.

Overall, it was a nice experience. I liked the helium silver balloon room, and of course, the beautiful city sites and lights. Going into the area where you could stand and see right through to the city was a little scary but amazing. It definitely is a popular site as there were a lot of people, all of which seemed in awe of the experience.
