This was not the first balloon ride I have taken, but it was the first one for my wife, my son and his wife. My wife has always wanted to take a balloon ride and this was a good opportunity while we were in California. My wife and son are both leery of heights, but they had no difficulties in the balloon basket. Getting in and out of the basket was not exactly simple for my wife since she had a knee replacement back in December, but she managed. Actually getting out was more difficult than getting in. The last ride I took was in the desert of Arizona and had somewhat more interesting landscape since we traveled a distance and watched some of the desert animals. The ride in Temecula was great, but the landscape was not the most interesting, especially since we did not travel any great distance while we were up. We were fortunate to have a great pilot that is also an instructor. We went as high as 2,000 feet and it was literally like floating on air. Everyone in the group enjoyed the ride and it was worth getting up so early since we got to see a magnificent sunrise. California Dreamin' did a great job and I would not hesitate to use their service again.

Great experience from the van driver to the pilot. Wonderful time was had by all, even getting in and out of the balloon. Would recommend small ladder to get in and out, but that would cut down on the laughs and fun. Would highly recommend for people of all ages.

I loved the serenity and peaceful feeling of floating in the sky! My friend and I were really excited to try the balloon flight and we were rewarded with an unforgettable experience!
