After booking a sunrise balloon ride with a competitor (Aerogelic Ballooning) and them not showing up to pick us up, we found this company and booked sunset ride with them for the same day. So glad the other company didn't show up! These people were all so professional and courteous, which was a stark contrast to Aerogelic Ballooning (Tara was laughing when we called to find out where they were and couldn't understand how that happened). The girls in the office were wonderful and understanding of our predicament, offered us a discounted price (AARP discount) so we payed same price we were going to be charged by competitor. Our pilot, Andy, was amazing, as was our transportation driver, Ryan! They made our balloon ride very enjoybale! I would definitely do this again if we are ever back in the Phoenix area...Andy's experience and expertise was outstanding! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone...you won't be sorry!

I called a very highly rated balloon company, but they could not accommodate a group of our size. They recommended we call Rainbow Ryders. That seemed like a good sign. The person we spoke to on the phone couldn't have been nicer. Our sunset trip was wonderful and memorable for the whole family. Everything was professional, from beginning to end. Our pilot, Kyle, was a cheery and experienced pilot. He had a lot of knowledge that he shared when you asked him questions. I would suggest that he share these interesting facts to the group going to and from the landing and launching sites. It was fascinating to watch the process of unfolding and filling the balloon. My original thought was that sharing the balloon ride with strangers would somehow take away from the experience. Quite the contrary, we met and enjoyed all the others on the flight. (We had 12 total). The champagne afterwards in the desert was fun. The ground crew took our photos in the basket, and they were great. The snacks back at the office were OK. Maybe a little upgrade there would make an "A" experience an "A+."

Our pilot Matt was knowledgeable and experienced, which made for a great flight along with comforting to know he knew what he was doing! Our crew consisting of Pete and Ryan were also awesome not only at their jobs but were funny as a team which was a great experience as well. You are in the balloon with other people so the "romance" of a first anniversary wasn't crazy but our group of individuals was hilarious so it wasn't even an issue!
