Minimum drinking age is 21 years
Each person regardless of age MUST have a ticket due to strict Coast Guard regulations. This includes infants of any age. Extra person's regardless of age that arrive and put us over our passenger limit will be denied boarding.

Aaron was an absolute delight to work with! I called first thing in the morning with the hopes of setting something up day of for a sunset cruise proposal (I know, I know, lack of planning…). Aaron picked up the phone immediately and talked me through some ideas and plans for the day. He was actually away on the road but still managed to set up something on his ship with another captain he knew. My fiancé actually gets sea sick when on the ocean and Aaron helped to assure the conditions of the day would allow us “smooth sailing” (pun intended). When we arrived at the doc not only were immediately comforted by the level of professionalism shown by the captain he charted and the condition of the boat. While on the boat we got to enjoy the many treats he provides such as fruit, champagne, chocolates, and to top it off we got to sit in the front of the boat (the bow) in bean bags and watch the sunset in a place not many will ever get the luxury of seeing it from. From beginning to end Aaron and Cast Off Sailing far exceeded our expectations and made a lasting impression on us. We have already made plans to go back again the next time we are in San Diego with our girls and have another adventure with them.

I did research online around San Diego since I knew I wanted to propose out on a sailboat. I looked at some other options that looked cheaper but settled on Aaron because of the reviews and I'm glad I did! He was very responsive and helped me plan. He took some pictures of us on his DSLR camera as I was proposing. That was perfect because it wasn't at all intrusive and I didn't have to schedule anyone else to come out with us. After the sunset we saw the beautiful San Diego night skyline. I wanted to meet our friends and family at a nice restaurant afterward and he recommended the Bali Hai Polynesian restaurant since he was able to drop us right off at the dock. The food there was very good as well. We had a great time. This was well worth doing a private sailing.

Second time sailing with Aaron, first doing the sunset sail. Had another awesome time and the nighttime views of San Diego are spectacular. Aaron is a laid-back as they come. Have done a few sailing trips with a few different outfits in San Diego and this is, by far, our favorite.
