When weighing the options for a unique adventure, family friendly experience, or looking for a must do adventure, this should be at the top of your list. No experience necessary, but you must be 8 years or older.
For the first hour we will get equipped, practice, and learn how to use the equipment to climb giant trees. Then we will take off on a short hike before climbing some of the tallest trees in the world. Around 200-300 feet high into the canopy of rare giant old-growth trees and experience an adventure that seems to take you out of this world. This is your chance to do a new and unique eco-tour activity, less than .01% of the population has yet to do! During the intro tree climb you will learn the basic skills of recreational tree climbing and rappelling, as you move your way high into the upper canopy with gorgeous views of ancient forest and wildlife.
This experience is like nothing you have never experienced before.

It was a wonderful and unique experience. My guide was great, he explained everything I needed to know to climb safely and made sure the experience was great. I missed my scheduled afternoon time because of car problems and they kindly rescheduled me for the sunset climb that same day even though I was the only one signed up that evening.

First off, our tree climbing guide Duncan was AMAZING! We took our 8 year old son on this sunset climb up some 300+ ft old growth tree and Duncan was SO patient and helpful and hung out with our son every step of the way! It was such a fun adventure and something I never even knew existed. It did seem to get a little windy towards the top at times but was otherwise very peaceful and fun to climb. We ended the climb after sunset and then walked back to the cars about 30 min in the dark but we all had headlamps (provided by the guide) that made it easy to see our way. My son loved it, my husband and I had a great time, and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a different type of adventure!

Hey Brittany! Thanks for coming out for a climb, happy you had an amazing experience :D. We just wanted you to also know we were proud of you all and your son for jumping right into our most adventurous and most challenging experience, the sunset climb. Chances are that if you’re reading through reviews, you’re curious about whether tree climbing lives up to the hype. I genuinely believe that it does and then some! This was was my second tree climb and just as spectacular. You will walk away awed by the experience and in the highest of spirits. Treat yoself and go get a view of some magnificent old growth forest that few ever get to see. This is an unforgettable experience that will stay with you for a long time afterwards.
