I have never surfed before but the folks at Big Wave Dave were very helpful and showed us the basics before taking us out to surf. The instructors talk you through when to paddle and stand on the board as the wave starts. Was able to surf a few times and I was surprised as a beginner who was expecting to do none.

My son is 16 and he had never surfed. He had the time of his life out there with his instructor. The instructor was so good that my son hired a board the next day and spent all day on the waves. An experience to never forget.

Great for beginners! The staff was incredibly helpful with helping us learn how to paddle correctly and how to stand up on the surf board when the right wave comes along. I would 100% do this again!
