I loved my Father's Day gift of learning to surf with my boys on our first trip to Hawaii. There were 11 people in our group and I was pretty sure I booked a private tour, but it was still fun. Surf instructors Chris and Josh were great. They helped the kids to ensure they didn't get too far out of reach and helped my struggling wife who couldn't stay on her surf board. They just seemed like good dudes and really enjoyed the experience.

What a blast. The whole place was organized, friendly, and kind. Instructors were awesome. My 9 year old got up on his third wave and was addicted. Everyone was encouraging and helpful. The spot where they take you is perfect. Not crowded or intimidating. Fairly shallow, beautiful. If you’re a confident swimmer and like to learn, you’ll have a blast. We actually booked our second day of surfing before we left. Probably one of my favorite days with my son ever. 10 out of 10.
