Pretty scenery and I appreciated that the guide took photos but it wasn’t clear to me that we would have to take a 30 minute bus ride from the meeting location to get to the place where we actually snowmobiled. Make sure you build that into your total time for this activity. I also got placed in a group that didn’t feel very comfortable on the snowmobiles so we ended up stopping at least 5 times on the first few miles to make sure everyone was okay and wasted about 20-30 minutes of our total snowmobile time. I think our guide did the best he could with the group we had but perhaps they should ask at the start when separating everyone into groups for people who are feeling uncomfortable to raise their hands so they can group them all together with the same guide. All in all, I don’t think the experience was worth the amount of money I paid and I would recommend you try somewhere else.

Let's start with the good, the tour guides seemed to really enjoy being guides and enjoyed being outside with the customers and that is where the good ends. We were scheduled for an 11am snowmobile tour that included a 920AM shuttle to their office facility. From the minute we got to the office to check in I knew it was going to be a long day. The process was completely disorganized with no one leading the chaos. The waiver was designed for one driver per sled but you were supposed to figure out how to put two drivers on the same form. This process could easily be put online saving a lot of time and confusion at check in. Then as you go to pay for your equipment rental, don't try to buy a bottle of water at the same time because combining the POS systems would be too complicated. There was zero direction once renting your gear on where you can leave behind your jacket and boots and it was a total free for all. There was no one helping to size helmets and they were so overbooked for our tour that there were not enough of the correct sized helmets left and several people, myself included, were left wearing a helmet at least one size too big. We got to the trailhead and had a brief safety meeting and the tour got started. The trail was in a miserable condition and had not been groomed. There was recent snow and the conditions could have been perfect had the company taken care of the trail prior to our tour. Several groups on our tour had people run off the trail causing potential injuries and delaying their tour group. The guides seemed to be the only ones in the company that cared about the safety of the riders. Due to safety concerns, we were not able to ride the full length of the designed tour. We arrived back to the trailhead approximately 130pm (30 minutes prior to when we were supposed to). The check out process was just as chaotic as the check in process. There was no guidance on what bus to get on to go back to your pick up location. It was after 3pm when we finally got dropped off back at the hotel. While the guides were great, I would not recommend taking the Summit Snowmobile trip with this tour operator.

What an amazing day! So much snow up the mountain and snowmobiling is fun and was very safe to do with teenage kids. Brent was an awesome tour guide, ensuring we were all safe and having fun!
