My husband and I enjoyed this walking tour with Sam. We didn't walk far, just around the plaza to a few adjacent alleys. He gave an informative history of the area and told stories about some of the notable characters who have lived in Taos. It was interesting to hear about art scene here and the movies that were filmed here. We did go in two galleries but there was no pressure to buy any artwork.

Sam provided a fine overview of Taos! He was easy to listen to, had good stories, and excellent insights from many years of living here.

My wife and I signed up for the “Walking Tour” and the bus “Landscape Tour”, both lead by Susan, well in advance. Both were excellent! The history of Ghost Ranch, some geology and some folk lore (some juicy and some not) were covered. We’ve talked about spending a night or two on our next visit.
