  • Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
  • Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
  • Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
  • New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
  • $50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
  • $50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

The way to the Meeting point Was horrible. We nieder 1,5 hours from Manhatten and we didnt had long waiting times. Then it was a wrong adress and we had to take a taxi for 40 Dollars. Then we were to late and they told us to pay 400 Dollars fine. The time in the Helikopter was amazing and exciting.

The office called to confirm your check in and you did not pick up, everyone else had no problem finding the address. You were late and had a late fee.

Overall this experience was nothing short of amazing, well worth the money it’s definitely something you should do if your visiting New York. A few things I would mention is that if you are a tourist visiting nyc and considering booking this helicopter tour be aware the location were you are picked up is very far outside of nyc, it’s in the state of New Jersey and can be quite difficult to get to. We had to get a train over to Hoboken then a taxi. Make sure you bring the CARD you payed with as they need that as well as your ID. On arrival you have to call a number to be picked up, it wouldn’t work on my English mobile so I panicked but I emailed the company and gratefully the staff called me straight away to help. The staff at the helicopter place were very friendly and accommodating and since it was my birthday gave me the seat next to the pilot which I really appreciated. I would definitely advise doing the longer tour as the flight time includes taking off, getting to NYC and landing. When you are in the air it’s simply stunning and a unforgettable experience. Thanks
