My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour!! Victoria was a great guide, knowledgeable about the area and history! Only negative, we felt portions were to large, other than that we felt it was fabulous!

Angee was our tour guide and she was friendly and professional, but best of all she made us feel comfortable immediately. We began at Old San Luis Barbecue Company where we had the choice of over 50 different beers. We were served a delicious plate with chicken, pork, pulled pork and tri-tip and cowboy cornbread and everything was delicious. It was a great way to start this tour! I may not recall all the places that we visited in the correct order, but I will share that locations that stood out to me and I hope I don't miss anything. We visited Granada which is a hotel that I have been wanted to visit. We sat and were tended to quickly by friendly staff at the restaurant inside. We were served tasty cocktails...each of our friends ordered something different and we all loved our choices. We enjoyed our drinks so much we quickly agreed that we would be returning together at a later time. We were served deviled eggs, avocado toast and cubano sandwiches, each were tasty! Angee went above and beyond and was able get us a tour of the private bar (so classy) and a room and other areas in that small- 17 room- hotel and it was a great treat. I didn't want to leave! We walked by the creek and near the San Luis Obispo Mission and Angee was able to share neat historical facts to make our walking enjoyable. She made sure we all felt included and chatted with everyone in our group. We visited a small liquor store with some outdoor sitting areas and this was one of the newly added stops to the tour according to Angee. The owner, Calatina, provided us with yummy Peruvian food and it was my first time tasting Peruvian food- YUMMY! We also visited Misturia restaurant to choose some delicate Italian chocolates. My husband and I chose to get a pastry instead of the 2 chocolates per person...so Angee made that happen. We passed up getting 4 incredible looking chocolates for a beautiful and delicious raspberry moose covering chocolate cake in the shape of a red rose. It was so beautiful! We actually enjoyed it at our final spot which was Club Bubbly at The Creamery. We tasted various champagnes and enjoyed our dessert at this small but cute place and it was a perfect ending to the tour. The Creamery is a really cool place with so many new little businesses- it's like a neat hidden food court. These are the experiences that I can recall from our recent walking food tour, our group all agreed that we would do it again in a heart beat and we are LOCALS so that says a lot about this tour. #moneywellspent

My fiancé and I just moved to SLO and was gifted this tour for my birthday. We booked the tour the first weekend in town and it was the perfect way to be introduced to some of the best downtown local spots! Angee (the tour guide and owner) planned it out the three hours perfectly. This is an ideal activity for anyone visiting, but great for locals too :)
