Very good tour. Extensive look at varied areas of the market. Food samples from a variety of vendors. More interaction with the vendors, like we had at the truffles shop, would have been good. Our guide Marcia was very organized, knowledgeable on market history and the vendors, friendly, and helpful.

After reviewing all of the options of city tours in Seattle, we decided on the Taste of Pike Place Market Tour. Lucky (our tour guide) kept in contact with us through text to confirm our meeting place and time. He ran a tad late but he texted us again to let us know Great guy. We made reservations right through TripAdvisor which was easy and convenient.We had our electronic tickets ready, just in case, but our guide had our names and off we went starting with delicious and warm donuts that he brought right with him while we made our introductions. The tour last about 2.5 hrs (normally 2.75 hrs) but due to our schedule, we had to cut the tour a little short. We were a group of four. Lucky was very accommodating and made sure we got to see everything within the shorter time period. There were two bathroom breaks. Not many places to really sit but once Lucky noticed that my husband was having physical difficulties, he found us places to sit a bit while he went for the yummy food! We got to see a variety of the eateries within the market place. We stopped at places where there were no tasting but still points of interest. Lucky was knowledgeable and professional and kept our interest with stories of the past and the fabulous background of the market place itself. He had a great sense of humor and ready with answers to all our questions. He even offered to arrange so we could catch a "flying fish" at the Pike Fish Market. :D The business owners were very friendly and you could see they had a great relationship with Lucky. I highly recommend this family-owned and family-run business for any tour available of Seattle (they offer a few different ones). I would definitely return!

My husband and I were visiting Seattle and someone we know had recommended the Pike Place Market food tour. We booked tickets online for a Monday tour. The website states that a tour requires 4 people. When we arrived Jerry, our tour guide said it was just us. So we ended up getting a private tour. Jerry was amazing! As we followed him through the market from stop to stop he kept our interest with stories of the history of the market and history of Seattle. We made at least 8 stops for tastings if not more. My husband and I recommend this tour to everyone now! If you can request Jerry!
