Glacier de Menden Hall

There was no glacier and it was 100f. There were hot beaches and people sunbathing and dont believe trip advisor reviews as they are not accurate

We had limited time in Juneau on our cruise to Alaska - and I always check TripAdvisor for excursions and compare them to the offerings from the cruise line. This was easily half the price of what the cruise line was offering. The bus runs like clockwork every hour and half hour on the clock. Pickup is near Tracy’s Crab Shack which is a short walk from the cruise terminal. We got on the first bus and the lady who drove us narrated the whole ride with interesting trivia about Juneau, while pointing out the various bald eagles sitting on the lamp posts! There are kiosks right off the cruise terminal where you can buy comparably priced tickets to Mendenhall from other outfits but this one was great. Mendenhall was gorgeous , the falls were breathtaking and we got to touch a broken off ice bit from the glacier. Also the bus fee covers any cost of entering the park.

I never got on the bus because our ship would not let us off. I was on the Norwegian Sun and our ship had hit an iceberg and the cruise was canceled. I have no way of getting a last minute refund from TripAdvisor. I wish I never bought through them because there was no discount or line at the bus bus station. It’s unnecessary to buy a ticket in advance.
