Took the Central Park tour this past weekend with a fabulous guide who wondered through an arch in the park in the 1800's and turned up in 2019! So entertaining and informative - and relaxing - did not feel rushed at all! Saw areas and heard facts about the park that I never did before. Highly recommend the Walk in the Park tour! Five + stars!

Great tour with great information about the park spanning time period from it's beginning to modern day. Wear comfortable shoes (some spots are "cobble-stony") and consider bringing water, although vendors can be found in a few spots along the way. I took the tour all the way to AMNH, and I'm glad I did. We came across a wedding in the lady's pavilion. Our guide Greta Hallenburg was knowledgable, funny, and delightful.

Great fun today on the Central Park tour with City Rambler. We beat the heat with a lovely stroll accompanied by two terrific guides who were "time travelers" come to show us around and give us their unique perspective (actors of course, but also fantastic guides steeped in historic and cultural knowledge). One was a comedienne as well! Her name was Bridget - an Irish ladies maid who was bawdy and ridiculously modest at the same time - she had us in stitches. We saw amazing wildlife, too - a turtle laying eggs, a great white heron, a bright red cardinal, and EVEN the mandarin duck! One guide showed us the southern part of the park, lots do and see, and the second guide showed us more off the beaten path finds further uptown - some of the stories were quite remarkable, and the people watching couldn't be beat. We had time to get ice cream or drinks as needed, and our closed circuit earphones made the experience calm and intimate, we could walk and listen, one guide recited poetry - or we could interact and joke around, making fun of modern day technology and fashion with our time traveler- it was great and I highly recommend this enjoyable way to have someone entertaining and full of fascinating facts lead you through the park, doing all the navigating, while you just take it all in. What a pleasure!
