Our tour guide announced that he doesn’t follow the script and the proceeded to give us an hour and ten minute long history lesson, mentioning one woman the whole time. We went to one of the promised stops, which did not include the Menger, which was a big reason that we wanted to go on this tour. Added a star because the last thirty minutes of the tour WERE about ghosts, even if they weren’t the ghosts we paid for to hear about. We really wanted a scary Halloween tour and it didn’t deliver at all. It seemed like the tour guide just wanted to show off his knowledge about San Antonio.

Beautiful buildings with lots of history! Loved every second! Was a small group so it was easy to get into the story telling and all the tales of murder and spirits!

Our guide was the sweetest older gentleman named Jimmy Ray. He showed us a couple extra things. Shared some personal experiences and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Something I’ve always wanted to do and definitely a good time had. No ghosties appeared but great historical tour of downtown.
