Donna was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I have taken several tours with Babylon which have all been good but Donna so far is my favorite guide due to her in depth expertise and ability to convey a large amount of information in an organized, relaxed manner. Will always ask for her in the future if possible when in Washington DC. Very impressed with the overall quality of Babylon tours also.

The National Gallery of Art has a massive collection. While we could have easily spent days looking at all the various paintings and sculptures, this tour helped us find and focus on some of the most important works of art in the collection. Donna was our guide, and she took us on a journey that illuminated how art evolved in Europe from the early works made for the church to the expansion of the Renaissance to the birth of Impressionism. She also continued that story to explain to us what was happening with art in America. Beyond just seeing art, we learned a lot from Donna. We left with a much stronger understanding and appreciation of the art masters. Donna is an amazing teacher. What did we see on our tour? Degas, da Vinci, Raphael, Rubens, Van Dyck, Matisse, Manet, Monet, Bierstadt, Church, Whistler and so much more! Sure. We could easily see the National Gallery of Art on our own — but on this tour we experienced a fascinating journey through art history. This has been one of the highlights of our trip to DC, and we will undoubtedly be talking about it for years to come. Thank you, Donna and Babylon.
