There's nothing better than visiting a city with a tour. Even better, if the tour is magic and if the guide, Tom, is really passionate about his job, the story of the City and magic. This tour is recommended for those who are just interested in experiencing new ways of spirituality, and getting into the magic atmosphere of Salem! Well done guys!!

Tom was great. There is something in this for everyone. Wonderful lessons of peace and acceptance. Interesting explanations of all our childhood ritual holidays. My wife was planning on becoming a witch, I think I'll be one too

I took the tour because it was well rated on "TripAdvisor", but I should have read the comments more carefully. I would have understood that the tour was more related to witchcraft than history. The tour begins with a ritual that is held in the backyard of the shop but the tour guide told us that we did not have to participate. I'm an atheist so i'm not into the "rituals" stuff. I went in the back of the store and waited for the ritual to end. When the ritual was over and we were getting ready for the walking tour, the lady in the shop that sold us our ticket came to me and was very upset that I did not participate in the ritual. She told me that she saw me wandering in the backyard and it was rude (??). I had to argue with her that I bought a ticket for a tour and I was free to follow it or not. Get a life lady!

Dear Brutus, We're so disappointed that you didn't enjoy the tour. As you said in your introduction, you did not read the comments very carefully, but we do understand that the word Witch has many meanings to many people, and that some who visit Salem do not know that real Witches even live her, So, we do strive to ensure that everyone knows that this is a tour about real Witches and real magic and not an historical tour about the 1692 Witchcraft trials with every but of literature and web information we put out there. That said, reviews like this give us a fantastic opportunity to drive that point home to those perusing the reviews. Just as we know you didn't want to take a tour that wasn't about history, we don't want those on the tour who have no interest in what we're doing anymore than such people want to be on the tour because we want people to get what they're looking for. If we owned a Greek restaurant and you complained on our Greek restaurant's TripAdvisor page that you were disappointed that we didn't have Egg Foo Yung, well, we'd be disappointed, especially because we always hope that those who rate us will be fair in their review since we actually give exactly what we promise to give. As for the ritual you disrupted, these ways are sacred to us. Two of my staff members insisted that they offered you a refund before the tour even got on its way and you refused because you wanted to accompany your girlfriend. While we honor the sacred bonds of love, our ways, too, are sacred, and to disrespect them is wrong. We realize that you are an atheist, but, as you clearly expected your feelings about your romantic relationships to be respected we expect our feelings to be respected as well. To be respected, you must be respectful. Ours is simply not a tour for atheists who cannot respect what we do. For those who are considering this tour, You WILL do rituals. You WILL do magic. You will discover the wonders and secrets of the universe and all that it can provide you. Those who come to us looking for the that magic and wonder that the powers Witchcraft are saturated in come away from this tour truly transformed and those are the people we're reaching out to. It's not that we don't love everyone but those who are meant to be on our tour and be transformed will find us. That is the very nature of magic. Blessings, Christian Day The Salem Witch Walk
