We did a hunt with Tara in February with a family group that included two tween girls . It was a wonderful activity. Tara had us split into two groups which introduced a little healthy competition and fun trying to get paparazzi pictures of each other . We learned a lot about the history and culture of Santa Fe in a fun way the kids could access. Tara is not physically present but guides us remotely. She is really fun to work with and espoused well to the personality of each team with gentle teasing and sharing of her own experiences in Santa Fe . Everyone had a great time . One tip Tara suggests doing this early in the day which I second . It takes a fair amount of energy and focus so you do t want to come into it tired . Tara was great to work with and very accommodating. I highly recommend this activity and will do it again with groups from out of town !

I was by myself and found this hard however, the leader was great and very kind, helpful, and made me look into interesting information about Santa Fe.

I would say it is true that this experience is great for some solo travelers but not all. It would be best for the very independent traveler who enjoys engaging with new people. Update June 2020: I now I am offering another hunt which is a great option for a solo traveler. Its called Search for The Story- The World's First Doc Filmmaking Scavenger Hunt. In this case you work closely with me to delve more deeply into a subject matter that interests you.

This was a wonderful experience. This was our first visit to Santa Fe and we had only few hours. We figured this would be a fun way to learn something unique about the city and we were right !! We definitely want to come back and spend more time in Santa Fe. Our only suggestion to future hunters- make sure you have time afterwards to wonder around and explore more about thing things you just found. It was hard to leave.

Thanks for doing the hunt! Yes I know SF has so much to see it IS hard to leave.. I hope next time you will do a rematch in SF at my La Fonda Detective hunt!
