It was my husband's birthday they sing happy birthday he was so happy. The service was absolutely amazing.

I am going to keep this as open as much as possible. Myself and a few of my family rode 7/23/2022 on our last night here in Hawaii and to my surprise and expectation our server Sarina was very kind and proactive from start to finish, my family was very needy but our server kept her positivity at an all time high. But our highlight this evening was the dancing with the staff towards the end and the manager I believe her name was Rose who ran the whole shebang this particular night. As she closes out the evening with her staff and the musicians we hear a woman let’s call her “Karen” insult the staff by degrading the service and omg the audacity of this woman we watched as she cursed out the manager and her team. The disgust on our faces as she degrades them for being miserable but we are not silent about it, we get a few words in with this ungrateful Karen. We watched as this team worked their butts off all night long, carrying and caring for the people who pay money to have a memorable experience. It hurt me and my family as we watch Rose try to defuse a situation but gets caught in a cross fire of this common creature we call “Karen”. First I would like to commend and Thank Star of Honolulu for their staff who work day in and day out and taking time out of their lives to make people such as myself and my family enjoy our last night in Hawaii. The verbal abuse and degrading your staff received this evening is unacceptable. Second to the Karen who spoke as though she spoke for everyone, You had no right or grounds to scream and throw a baby tantrum at hard working people who tried their best to make you happy. You said you had a bad experience before with this same company, if that were the case why would you come back? We had a great time and the hard working staff did a fabulous job. Again, Thank you everyone at the Star of Honolulu. Rose and her team were awesome and the way you all handled tonight I am proud to have had this experience. And it was not a waste of our money at all. Please continue to do what you folks do and that is making memorable experiences. I had to write this here as soon as we got back to our hotel in case I would forget. I needed to get this off my heart because after that encounter I needed people to know that Karen’s exist even in Hawaii. We will definitely be back.

This was an amazing experience, the food was great, the staff was soo friendly and helpful, overall it was soo worth it, I have 0 complaints, the fireworks at the end topped it all off perfectly
