This is a very nicely put together museum. All admissions include a wand which further explains or enhances the displays. They have a children's version and an adult version of the narrative which I thought was great since it gave the kids a better understanding of the displays. The history of the Titanic is told in detail but not tedium. There are examples and artifacts that were rescued from the disaster either by survivors or expeditions. It tells the story of its passengers and depicts photos of passengers. It depicts scale models and a history from the building of the Titanic and its sister ship through to the disaster and the discovery of the ship in its final resting place. I found the replica of the grand stair case amazing. It is so beautiful and helps to bring the ship to life. It is a self paced tour so you can visit as desired. There are coupons available in some local coupon magazines and groupons are often available as well to save on admission.

The Titanic Museum is a typical museum walk through, although it looks like a ship externally. While I found it to be historically interesting, I did not find it interesting enough to go back after that.

Everything you wanted to know and more are preserved at the Titanic Museum. You're given a hand held device which gives you the option to hear narrations for several facts and memoirs along the way without disturbing other visitors since you hold it to your ear like a phone. There are also child narrations for the younger ones. They've recreated the Grand Staircase made so famous by the movie. Plan for about 90 minutes for this tour to really absorb all of the interesting things you'll learn and see along the way.
