On this trip we paddle the shoreline of Resurrection Bay, where encounters with sea otters, sea birds, bald eagles and leaping salmon are common. Our day will include a paddle along the coastline and walking through a temperate rain forest. We’ll explore Tonsina Point with its ghost forest, late season salmon stream and beautiful mountain views from its beach. Enjoy a picnic lunch and possibly a visit to a waterfall.

My wife and I enjoyed the Tonsina Point Kayak and Rainforest Exploration with Emma. Emma is a phenomenal guide - on the water, in the forest, and with insights to local eateries and locations for hiking/seeing bears. She has a fantastic attitude, great patience, and genuine passion for the outdoors. Highly recommend this excursion!

We had a great time! Lola was a great guide and super friendly. We saw a Harper seal, bald eagles and salmon in the rivers. We also learned lots of different things on this tour, about fish and the Seward area. I would have picked a longer trip, but we had a 10 year old with us and didn’t want to do too much.

Our tour guide Ben nailed it! A brilliant young man, packed with interesting information, attentive and fun to spend the day with rain or shine! The tour was fascinating; we saw plenty of bald eagles, a couple of otters, beautiful flora, and many variety of birds. The snack (chili or chicken noodle soup) hit the spot and our lunch a little later was thoughtful and packed with goodies! A great mix of kayaking and hiking. Beautiful scenery-a day to remember!
