We decided to take a walking tour of the Freedom Trail and got to go on a tour with Caitlin Johnston. What a great choice. Caitlin was energetic and such fun! She made what could have been a pretty dry trip through history into a fascinating adventure. She really brought the instigators of the American Revolution to life.

Caitlin did a terrific job. I teach a course on the Revolutionary War in the south, but am very familiar with the history in Boston as well. Caitlin was able to add insights into the history in several areas. My wife had never been to Boston and is not too knowledgeable of history here and throughly enjoyed Caitlin's performance. Although we had a very large group (>30), she was able to project her voice and be heard above the din of the city. She managed the number well in moving through traffic. The tour was as advertised -- it doesn't include the whole trail. It cannot and have the depth that it does.

On July 5th, at 11:30, my friends and I took the Freedom Trail: the Path to Independence Tour....WE LOVED IT. Our tour guide, "Deacon John Larkin", was very informative and answered all our questions with passion and, at times, humor. After the tour, which ended near Quincy Market, we decided to continue on the Trail. As our tour guide suggested, we took the ferry to the Charlestown Naval Yard and followed the Trail back to Quincy Market...seeing all the historical sites in between. As stated, Excellent Tour and thank you "Deacon John Larkin" for making our day.
