I was in Boston for an early celebration for my sons birthday. We decided to take the walking tour of the freedom trail to have more details of the places instead of walking it ourselves. Our guide was Kelsey Endter aka..."Sarah Bradlee Fulton" She was very good. Full of energy, funny and very personable. We enjoyed the added information to each site. The only slight complaint I would have is a suggestion that she would have talked a little slower. She seemed to be "speed talking" and it made the tour seem rushed. I know they are on a time limit, but I would have taken more in if it had been a little slower. Overall it was great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This was the highlight of our trip to Boston! Plan to spend an informative 2 hours on this walking tour that starts outside the Visitor's Center at Boston Common and ends at Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. Their site has a link to Groupon where you may purchase discounted tickets. 2 for $16 or 4 for $27 at this time. Our guide was excellent in telling our group about the history of Boston and the events leading up to the Revolutionary War. She was dressed in Colonial wardrobe. When we reached Faneuil Hall, she stayed directing all the members of the group to their choice of destinations. We opted to spend the afternoon at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market and came back the next day to tour the rest of the trail (Paul Revere's Home, Old North Church, North End, Boston Sea Party, Bunker Hill and USS Constitution) with Cityview Hop on/Hop off Trolleys. (Also excellent!) Parking is an issue in Boston. We parked in the Boston Common underground lot ($32/day weekdays and $16/day Sunday). The entrance is at 0 Charles Street. From there you may take an elevator back to street level and the Boston Common Visitor's Center is a short walk away as is the State House where you can pick up the Cityview Trolley. Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes on this tour.

This is a very informative tour around the history of Boston, the Tea Party and Independence, Our guide, Anna, was really making her best to tell a lot of historical information that were very useful and appreciated during the tour. You do not see the whole Freedom Trail but if you want to come out with a very good insight of the revolution and of Boston history, I do recommend it. Do check Groupon first, since I saw it is often there, and the deal is very good
