Our tour group had at least 60 people with a tour guide who didn’t have a microphone. The sidewalks in Boston are narrow and crowded, so when the tour guide stopped, only a few people closest to him could hear anything he was saying. Unfortunately, it really ended up being a waste of time in a great city. There are many companies offering tours and seem to have much smaller groups.

Okay guide but way too many people! There were well over 50 people on our 11:30 tour on Saturday. Way too many for the guide to do a thorough job, tried as he did. I feel like we missed out on quite a bit of stories because so much time was taken waiting for this large group to get into his earshot. I researched several tours and thought this one said maximum 30 people but that may have been another tour company that was already sold out. This company apparently sells as many tickets as they can, to the detriment of everyone’s experience.

Our lady tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Her explanation of history, geografic and culture was great. She kept the group together and participating.
