We purchased through Groupon but would have been well worth the full price. Nicely done! It rained during our tour so we saw some highlights in the cemetery and she further explained when in the hotel portion of the presentation. A young fellow asked lots of intelligent questions making to tour even more interesting! Highly recommend!

I am grateful that we purchased our tickets from Groupon because we would have really been unhappy if we had paid full price.
The tour did cover part of the Freedom Trail and the guide did explain what we were seeing. However the group was way too large. We could not hear at some of the stops. The company should have added another guide and split the group.
The Pride parade was happening at the same time as our tour. No adjustments were made to the tour to avoid having to cross the parade route which is where we lost the guide! We were more than 75% through the tour so we just walked away.
Finally, the tour guide knew his facts but his delivery was teacher to students style. He added no humor and did not engage any of his customers. He is much better suited for high school history teacher than entertaining vacationers!
I suggest finding one of the free walking tours where you pay what you feel is appropriate. My experience with those guides has been very rewarding.

We thought originally that a tour with a costumed guide would be hokey and dumb, but I was totally wrong; it was amazing!! John was our guide and he had GREAT stories and his presentation was fantastic! His knowledge of history went beyond something you could read in a manual. You really felt his passion for history, the accuracy of his stories and his re-enactment prowess. 100% recommend.
