Cette visite est conçue pour mettre en valeur les couleurs uniques des Smoky Mountains à l'automne. Les couleurs maximales changent d'année en année, mais nous essayons toujours de localiser les zones où l'on trouve le plus de couleurs. Cette visite se déroule uniquement d'octobre à mi-novembre. En chemin, vous verrez une grande partie de la région à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du parc. Votre guide vous donnera de nombreuses informations tout au long du parcours sur l'histoire et le patrimoine de la région et de ses habitants. L'itinéraire peut changer d'un jour à l'autre en fonction de l'intuition du guide et des zones où la couleur est la plus probable. La couleur de l'arbre ne va pas toujours coopérer au début du mois, veuillez en tenir compte lors du choix de votre date. Même les jours où la couleur n'est pas facile à trouver, nous vous montrons certaines des vues les plus étonnantes et vous régalons d'histoires et d'histoires. Cette visite dure 5 heures complètes de sites, d'histoires et de vues à ne pas manquer.

We went the third week in October and saw some trees turn but missed the peak by a couple of weeks. The trip was still informative but we were disappointed to reach Clingman's Dome lookout but not be able to climb to the observation tower there because of time constraints. The traffic was so heavy that by the time we reached the dome we had to start back. We had assumed we'd stop and do the observation tower but the driver said that even stopping is not guaranteed.

The tour started on time, the driver waited for everyone and then we took off! This tour provided great views everywhere we drove. The driver, Bob, was the best tour guide ever!! This tour is educational, but not slow or boring in any way. We had multiple stops for pictures/eating and two stops for hiking!! (Optional) The weather was perfect and the leaves just started to change. Highly recommend this trip!

Although the trees were just beginning to change colors during our tour (the second week of October) Dustin did a great job of giving us information about specific tree specimens, several that were new to me. The hike to the tower giving a 360 degree tour yielded some beautiful sights & sounds of the smokies and the view from the tower was spectacular. We were able to watch/listen to informative and beautiful videos en route to and from the tower. Our guide interlaced personal stories of growing up along the route which were very interesting. This tour was thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it!

You sure are better with words than I am ... Thank you so much for the great review. I had a ton of fun with you all that day. I might not be the best with words but I got a memory like a 5TB solid state hard drive ... or like an elephant for those not tech inclined lol. On just about every tour I do I feel like i've made new friends but then they have to go back home at the end of the day. The only up side is I get more new friends the next day lol ... I really appreciate you taking time to write this review so I wanted to take time to say thank you so much for coming to see us and for this amazing and thoughtful recommendation.
