Welcome aboard Hawaii Nautical, you're invited to observe, learn, and experience Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles firsthand!

Guests will learn about the life cycle, behaviors, and threats to the Hawaiian Sea Turtles "Honu" (Learning preserving, respectfully observing).

Set sail for Turtle Canyon on a 65 foot Gold Coast power catamaran from Waikiki, enjoying a scenic cruise along the shores of Oahu. Your goal: snorkeling in warm waters frequented by Hawaii’s green sea turtles!

Back on board, enjoy two provided drinks, and refuel with lunch if you select the midday tour. Keep an eye out for dolphins, migrating whales and other marine life as you soak up the sights, including Diamond Head.

See Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles or cruise again for free. Turtle guaranty is for a one time re-ride only, no refunds. Reride on trip of same or lesser value on the Oahu, Big Island or Maui.

It was overall enjoyable but it’s really up to you to make the best experience of it cause you aren’t guaranteed help from the crew to swim. You will definitely see sea turtles swimming in the bottom maybe 20 ft down and cool tropical fish about 2 ft down. Due to a faraway cyclone, the water was super choppy. If you have never swum, you can’t do this snorkeling because even with a life jacket and lifesaver and rope, the enormous waves are enough to intimidate even more experienced swimmers. The crew will not help anyone into the water because they’ll eventually need to let you go swim on your own and if you need help at all you shouldn’t be in the water on your own. This is why I highly recommend going with friends or family who are experienced and holding hands as you each enter the water-that’s your best bet. Also you gotta swim away from the boat, like 5-10 ft away or you can injure yourself. You’ll spend maybe 1/2 hr to 1 hr snorkeling and the other hour on a scenic boat ride-so be prepared if you’re the type who gets seasick. About 1/3 of the people were too scared to swim and had refreshments and snacks on the boat instead so it’s not too terrible if you end up not snorkeling and you can see fish from the boat too. Bring a towel, wear a swimsuit under your clothes, and wear full sleeved clothes, and a light windbreaker to keep you warm from the wind on the boat ride-you’ll likely change into your clothes in a public area so wear the swimsuit under.

The crew was great and very helpful. I got a bit seasick and the crew was very attentive, provided lavender oil and ice and checked on me frequently. My daughter throughly enjoyed the snorkeling and my son even seemed to like it.

My husband and I had an amazing time on our honeymoon! We saw turtles and dolphins near the reef. Great staff and great service. A highlight of our trip - thank you all!
