After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more

My son and I got reacclimated on the first 40 minute dive near Airport Beach (hadn’t been in a few years) and then went to a more advanced dive at Mala Harbor, which was like swimming in a massive aquarium! Loads of turtles, many varieties of fish and just great sea life. Abby gave us a great refresh on what to do and was a terrific guide throughout. Thorough, patient and very nice. My son and I have some very cool pics and videos we will be talking about for a long time. Worth every penny to keep to the three of us and not be a gaggle of 7 underwater. Fun! Fun! Fun!

My wife and I are not big fans of crowds so we were not super excited by the big dive shops where the "small" groups are about 20 people. We decided to go with the private dive experience, without knowing how it would be but it turned out to be the most amazing experience. Our instructor, Abby, was super nice, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She gave my wife a lot of confidence (she was anxious, she had not dove in a long time), while making the dive fun for me. The owners were around too (with other groups) and they were super nice and attentive to our needs. The fact that we leave from the shore (first time for us) was actually great: you can just put your wet suit and dive, without dealing with the long boat ride and the many people around. They also took amazing pics and vids that they shared with us after the dive (for a small fee). It was great to have memories while still enjoying the dive 100% without the hassle of taking pictures :) I highly recommend!

Sometimes it's nice to have a dedicated instructor just for you. Diving in a big group, you tend to see more bubbles than fish. It's also great to read that you enjoyed the shore diving. We had one day of training with Kevin and a day of fun dives with Caitlin. Kevin was a great instructor that listened to our needs and tailored a plan to succeed. Both Caitlin and Kevin had many tips for us as neophyte divers and obviously know the area very well. It was clear to us that Kevin and Caitlin truly love their work and really enjoy making better divers. We had a blast both days and will definitely be back again!
