We did the Queens City Underground tour and really enjoyed it! The guides are charismatic and TRULY care about the topic matter and the neighbourhood they are showing you.

We went on the Underground Tour with American Legacy Tours. What a great way to learn about the rich history of Cincinnati! The three guides were knowledgeable, funny and obviously care about their neighborhood and their city. Next time we are back in the city, we are definitely going to take another of their tours. Cannot recommend this enough!!

As a Cincinnati/Northern KY native, I have been wanting to take this tour since I have heard nothing but positive comments and quite frankly wanted to learn more about my hometown. This tour did not disappoint! John, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, personable and lived in the neighborhood we toured! This tour is a non-strenuous walk through "Over the Rhine" in Cincinnati. The participants learn about the German History of Cincinnati and how the historic Over the Rhine was almost lost forever to crime and decay....only to be revitalized and is now a model of successful urban development. The history of beer in Cincinnati is also reviewed and the tour ends in underground tunnels once used for the fermentation process of beer for local breweries of yesteryear. (best part of tour!) I would definitely recommend this for both natives to Cincinnati as well as visitors to our city. The only reason I did not give 5 stars to this tour, was apparently they do not mind if participants smoke while on the walking tour. There was 1 person who smoked throughout the tour. As someone who is allergic to smoke, this definitely detracted from the tour as I had to continuously make sure I was walking in front of the couple so as not to have the smoke blow in my face during the walk.
