We initially thought we’d rent bikes just to ride around Central Park, and ended up keeping them all day. Good customer service, easy in and out. Bikes and tag a long were in great shape for rentals, like new. Absolutely beautiful to ride all over Central Park, getting off here and there to walk some spots and playgrounds. It’s a bike-friendly city, so we rode all the way down on the water to Chelsea Market and the High Line. We locked our bikes and went on foot there for several hours, and came back to find out unlocked tag a long still attached. Made the day!

Had a lovely tour of Central Park led by Dan. Our group of 18 had people from Amsterdam, Germany, Italy, Australia, and the two of us from Texas. Dan engaged all of us and kept us entertained playing music from all of our countries, and stopping to share fun facts like naming dozens of movies with Central Park scenes, # of benches/trees, telling history, pointing out landmark buildings & famous residences on perimeter. Such a beautiful park and a real sanctuary to enjoy nature, history, & Art. Also appreciate that he took photos of each couple or family for us to remember our tour. Remember to get there early to get checked in, pick up bike/helmet so tour can start on time.

Elevators are among the slowest in the city. You may spend a good portion of your time in the hotel waiting for the elevators. The rooms are comfortable; service for problems is sporadic, impersonal desk help. Looks like this hotel picked up a lot of international groups that used to book the now-closed Wellington across the street, and they can't handle the influx.
