The Mojave Desert is a xeric desert in the rain shadow of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the Southwestern United States. It is named for the indigenous Mojave people. It is located primarily in southeastern California and southwestern Nevada, with small portions extending into Arizona and Utah.
Valley of Fire State Park is a public recreation and nature preservation area covering nearly 46,000 acres (19,000 ha) located 16 miles (26 km) south of Overton, Nevada.The state park derives its name from red sandstone formations, the Aztec Sandstone, which formed from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.These features, which are the centerpiece of the park's attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun's rays. It is Nevada's oldest state park, as commemorated with Nevada Historical Marker #150. It was designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1968.

Beautiful view and friendly tour guide. Little bi of hiking and plenty of opportunities to take unique pictures

Thank you very much for your review, we will make sure next time do more hiking we should have more communication, we do the longest hike but we can always do another one or 2 more if you guys are able to do it, we thought you guys were very tired and didn't want to over due , please come back and take the next tour with us.. Was in Las Vegas for conference w my friends and co workers , we wanted to see something different we all love the outdoors we wanted to hike ans enjoy the nature this was its perfect , we got nice pictures very enjoyable your , actually was cheaper then stay in Vegas , worth the price The driver amazing girl very funny We recommend this tour

Needed to get out of the city of a while but didn’t want to fly. I thought about a quick car ride to get somewhere I wouldn’t be usually to see. I’m so happy I found Hilda’s company! She always adjusted whatever to be done. The trip was very fun and I got a lot of pictures that were not on the strip. Would recommend to anyone bored of the city life!!
