I watched documentaries about the Stonewall uprising, the movie, the "When We Rise" series, "milk" and more. Still, the tour taught me a whole bunch of new information I didn't know about the community before the uprising, during and after. Great experience with a guide that you feel cares about and knows, what he talks about. Highly recommended, both for those who know nothing about LGBTQ history and realize it's time they do, and those who think they know a lot ;)

We enjoyed the walking tour of Greenwich Village yesterday with Michael. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about LGBTQ+ history. Michael is a fantastic guide who shares his knowledge with the group in an educational and fun way! I invited my nephew, sister and brother-in-law from England to join me on this tour. They found it very interesting and took some of Michael's business cards back to England to give to their friends and clients.

Whether you're a NYC native or just visiting, Christopher St Tours is an incredible way to explore the history of both the West Village and LGBTQ community. The tours are thoughtful, relevant, and definitely leave you wanting to explore more. Michael was an absolute pleasure!
