It was my 21st birthday and our guide, Lorenzo, made it so memorable. Passionate about nature, Las Vegas, and getting the best photo, he was a joy to be around and I learned a lot. Lorenzo was personable, spontaneous and came off very experienced. Everything on the tour was very smooth and well timed, we felt very taken care of.

Our tour was great. Our tour guide Lankun "Mama" was very informative about Death Valley. It was just my brother and I on the tour. My brother is 18 and I am 22. I am not a wine person and only reason I chose this tour was because it was the only one that offered stargazing. Since it was just the two of us, we skipped the wine tasting and headed straight for the park. We had way more time to do some hiking and take pictures. Even our guide, Lankun, had never been able to have as much time as we did as she was always in a rush due to wine tasting. It is highly recommended and pretty much necessary for anyone doing this tour interested in stargazing to choose a day that is a New Moon day, meaning no moon. It is nearly impossible to see any stars with the moon out and bright. Since Death Valley is designated as a dark sky park and perfect for stargazing, going on a New Moon weekend is the best time to go. Yes, it is pitch black but you won't regret it. I just happened to choose a New Moon day and was even more excited for the tour. Lankun is very welcoming and knows a lot about Death Valley. My brother and I had a great time with her and she even did some hiking with us so that she could take the best photos with her fancy camera and send to us. The tours for this company are essentially a private tour and only ever take small groups. Even though it was pricey, it was worth it. I called Viator to triple check if other people were going on this tour for safety reasons and they said the tour wouldn't happen with less than 12 people. But don't panic as that is a norm for this specific tour since it is a private tour. This tour is a must for anyone interested. We were lucky that the heat in June wasn't too crazy and overwhelming. It hit 100 degrees, but did not feel as bad as it looks. Lankun, if you see this thank you for a great tour and helping me get my stamps in my National Park Passport book!

Myself, my two young adults, and my 17-year-old teen were on the VIP Small Group Wine Tasting + Death Valley Sightseeing & Stargazing from Vegas. The total trip was an amazing experience. Thanks to our guide Lankun "MaMa", she was awesome, knowledgeable of the area and came super prepared for everything. She is exactly what you need in a guide.........
