Kat Nelson is the founder and artistic director of Alley Kat Adventures, an Austin-based event design company with a presence in 30 cities in the US & Mexico. She has hand-crafted epic adventures for Google, Intel, Airbnb, Dell, Rice University, etc. Originally from the Carolinas, Kat is naturally hospitable! She has a background as a trade show associate/presenter & a SAG actress with principal TV, film & commercial/print credits. She is also a former teacher (14 years) with a MED and a National Board certification. Prior to launching her own business, Kat led national marketing teams for Facebook, NVIDIA, Avid, etc. Alley Kat Adventures welcomes you!

This was a great way to get to know other folks I didn’t know so well or at all and it was FUN! Some of the tasks were silly, goofy, endearing, random and definitely out of the box ideas. There was even an improv element that I really appreciated. Well, I’m essence it was one big improv cuz everything is unexpected. This is def worth a try and I would Highly recommend it.

Gosh, I loved this experience, first timer looking for entertainment on lockdown and it wowed me! Kat is an amazing host indeed, she keeps everyone enganged and motivated, plus the activities are all scheduled so no one ever gets a chance to sneeze. Early into the virtual experience I completely forgot we were behind the screen because the game builds community rapidly and it gets you outta your head and into your feeling body. Kat shared her education background with us and she is very in tune of how to lead the group and give a chance for everyone to shine. Our world is changing, we need to find outlets for our stress that are intellectually stimulating and to allow the inner child to play or else we will become bitter zombies, this hunt is worth your time and then lather, rinse and repeat, you will set your personality free :D Thank youuuuu! I’ve only ever done one other scavenger hunt and it was a work team building event in a city that I didn’t know. Doing a virtual one in the house was much more fun actually. The hostess, Kat, introduced me to my two virtual teammates and helped us all navigate through the game. She was careful to come up with hunts that we could all do from inside. I can highly recommend this company for a fun afternoon, whether you have kids or are a single participant, as I was.
