On this unique tour, we follow Washington's remarkable life and legacy through his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. On this tour, you will get an extremely knowledgeable George Washington expert that will answer all of your Washington questions and talk about many of the most important moments of Washington's distinguished career as a surveyor, commander-in-chief, farmer, President, and private citizen.

We will also stop historic locations to include:
- Wise's Tavern
- Duvall's Tavern
- George Washington's Townhomes (both of them!)
- The Fairfax House
- Dr. Craik's Home
- Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee Home

On this tour, we will walk to each location. However, we will not be going inside them.

We are local to the area, but were interested in learning more about our hometown, so we booked a tour. Tim was exceptional in his professionalism and knowledge. He presented the information in a very easy to understand format. The tour was efficient, but not rushed. We learned many new facts about the streets we see every day and it was a very pleasant way to enjoy an afternoon. Highly recommend if you are local or visiting!

It was fascinating to learn of George Washington’s connection with Alexandria. The tour, Director, Wayne, Was knowledgeable articulate, and funny. It was a very worthwhile tour. I would recommend it to all.

Learned a lot. Pleasant experience. Would do it again. Tour guide was pleasant and had good energy. I liked that it was themed to Scottish Parade.
