Montie was a great host who took the time to figure out the best experience for our group. The tour was a fantastic experience and more personal than a larger coach trip can manage. Would certainly recommend.

We did the monuments by moonlight tour with a group of friends that were visiting DC and we had the best time! Shaina was an incredible tour guide - so knowledgeable, funny, and flexible! Would highly recommend for visitors and for locals!!

With temp at 11C and windy they only provided 2 enclosed e-cars that were snapped up by 3/4 of the group waiting for the tour. The 3rd e-car we were left with was wide open to elements and driver refused to lower the plastic cover to block the wind saying it would just fog up and we wouldn't see anything....so we all suffered through the cold and gladly ended the tour early and very disappointed.

Hi Nebs - It sounds like this was a less-than-ideal experience and I apologize for any role we played in that. Admittedly, this is a transition season where the weather can be quite nice during the day and a bit chilly at night. And when dealing with open-air vehicles, there is a balance to strike between the views and guest comfort. We also encourage all guests on public departures to check the forecast ahead of time and account for the breeze during the ride. My hope is that our guide offered you blankets, which are available for the open-models. As for the enclosed vehicles, those will be the primary vehicles in the fleet beginning this week. They're perfectly suited for the cooler weather ahead. And you're correct that the first to arrive at the meeting point for public bookings will get first choice of seats - it's the only fair system. However, we absolutely encourage guests to call us at 202 810 1700 or email [email protected] for private bookings. Such bookings allow us to customize the pick-up point, modify the route and guarantee the vehicle of your choice. Again, I apologize for the unpleasant experience. Please reach out to me directly (at the email and phone above) if you'd like to discuss this further. - Tim, City Manager
