Lulumahu Waterfall
This hike to one of Hawaii’s most incredible waterfalls is fit for all experience levels. After pickup, we will drive about 15 minutes to the trailhead where the muddy adventure begins. The trail is a true rainforest trail, misty and green most of the time. Along the trail, you will hike through bamboo forests, guava tree meadows, taro patches, and will cross a small stream several times before reaching the waterfall. The stream is only ankle deep, but your shoes will get wet on this trail. Once we reach the waterfall, feel free take snap some pictures, or get your feet wet in the pool below. Stay on trail with an experienced and trusted local guide, learn about Hawai’i history, and explore nature without the tourist crowds.

Bruno was on time and a great guide, but when we booked this we were told it came with rain gear, water and snacks and they were not provided. We also felt he should have slowed down a little and let us take in the sites a little more and maybe talk about the island. With that being said we would still book with him again.

Our guide Bruno was great! And so patient with our family in traversing the rough spots (aka literally “any” hiking) for some of us. He remained relaxed and at no point rushed us through. Waterfall was beautiful and was so much more enjoyable with an expert guide. Would most DEFINITELY recommend!
