My wife and I was on this tour on this past Thursday with Mike as our guide. The communication up to and the morning of the tour was outstanding. Mike picked us up from our hotel on Biltmore Estates and once we picked up our fellow tourists we were on our way. Traveling up the Blue Ridge Parkway was absolutely amazing, and we got to our first stop we knew it would be a great day. Mike provided helpful information and tips all the way and was very engaging and knowledgeable. We visited Three waterfalls, Looking Glass, Daniel Ridge, and whale back falls. We also stopped at the Pisgah Inn and picked up some items. Mike provided water, walking sticks, snacks, and backpacks for those who needed them. The hike to Daniel Ridge was the farthest but it was not a difficult hike at all. This was a five star trip and if you get a chance to take it, you will not be sorry. Thanks Mike you are Crazy Cool! I went on this tour as a single hiker & was paired up with another group. Randy, our guide, was outstanding! He not only took us to see the waterfalls (which were beautiful) but taught us so much along the way - flora, fauna, topography, history. He was a wealth of interesting information. I highly recommend this tour, the hiking part is really quite easy. I look forward to booking another hike next time I'm in Asheville.
