(4 person minimum booking required.) You get the best of both on this Waterfalls and Breweries Tour with a designated driver. Your "Brew-bur Driver" will pick you up at your stay location in Bryson City, NC and drop you off there after the tour. (PLEASE NOTE: this is non-optional. We've designed the Experience to provide a safe, designated driver day. Please do not book if you are not staying in Bryson City for us to pick up and drop you off.) This 9 hour tour visits 4 Western Carolina waterfalls and 4 breweries. Tour starts at 8:00 A.M. in Bryson City, NC and ultimately returns there as well. Food trucks available at several breweries along the way. Tour includes a pint of beer per person at each brewery, guided hikes, and transportation.
Other things to note:
Must be a minimum age of 21 to book tour.
Waterfalls hikes involve moderate hiking with maximum distance of two miles.

This area is so gorgeous and there are so many ways to experience it. I wanted a deep in the woods hiking adventure and Mark was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide about all the trails in the area but also the flora and fauna.Even booked for a second day. Waterfalls at Deep Creek and the emerald loveliness of the copper studded water of Lake Fontana. I return again and again to this area and often rent a cabin. Found out Mark will shop and stock our cabin prior to our arrival and I can also rent equipment from him for kayaking or paddleboarding. Overall great time.

I recently took my nephews who are 13 and 11 to the Great Smokey Mountains and I hired Mark to take us on a guided hike to the waterfalls. As he is a jack of all trades, he also drove a boat for us so my nephews could go tubing etc off the boat. He has boys of his own, he is a true family man, I felt like my boys were with their own father. He is certified in many things and just has an incredible disposition not to mention how much he truly enjoys doing what he does for a living. I was very fortunate to come to know him and I would strong suggest using his company because it truly makes all the difference with a guide for certain aspects of a vacation.

I can’t say enough about my amazing experience with Carolina Bound Adventures. My boyfriend and I spent a day and a half with Mark, doing the brewery tour and the waterfall hike. He is so knowledgable about the Bryson City area, so we learned a lot from him! He came to pick us up from our hotel (Lakeview at Fontana). On our brewery tour, he was sure to show us the best food trucks, give us the free goodies he could get from each bar (buttons, stickers, and coasters), and take a ton of pics so we can look back at each memory. He gave us space to hang out, but we also really enjoyed hanging out with him! Everyone looked at us like we were VIP being “escorted” to and from each brewery and we truly felt like it! We enjoyed our time with Mark so much that we booked the waterfall hike with him the next morning (and Easter at that!) The two and a half hour hike was so fun. We saw three falls and learned about the trail, area, trees, etc. Again, we got plenty of pics and Mark gave us a real workout! I can’t wait to book more adventures when we visit again.
