When booking a tour with WCE, guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. Guests will walk through the slot canyon known as Waterhole Canyon. Located just 5 miles south of Page, AZ on the Navajo Nation is a beautiful slot canyon waiting to be discovered, WITHOUT the large crowds. Guest will be accompanied with a tour guide as the mesmerizing beauty of the 2-mile canyon leaves a life-long memory. WCE tries their best to keep their guest to tour guide to a 14:1 ratio for each tour time. Guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. Fantastic views and plenty of photo opportunities Shane was my guide, and he did an excellent job. Lots of great information and history about the people's and the area. I definitely recommend.

What a special place this was! It was incredibly peaceful in the canyon and the light coming down from above and reflecting off the rocks was pretty breathtaking. Our guide Shane was very kind and into sharing about Navajo culture and ways of life, both past and present. The 90-minute tour went quickly. I wish there had been another 15 minutes so we could just be still in this powerful place. Will have to go back again.

Waterhole Canyon Experience was amazing! The staff are all friendly and helpful, and it was not crowded like the other canyons. Ryan our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and “sigma” (per my 10yo). I had contemplated the upper and lower slot canyons, but after reading more travel blogs, we chose here and I am so glad we did. We had plenty of time for photos and to take in the majestic beauty of each twist and turn. While deep in the canyon, Ryan even treated us to a beautiful Navajo song on his flute about losing someone you love. The hike was easy-moderate with some steep steps to climb down and narrow slots to drop into, but Ryan helped us all through with ease. My boys (13 and 10) loved it and I think took more pictures than I did! It was definitely a highlight of our Northern AZ roadtrip.
