Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour

It was my niece's first trip to Maui so we really wanted her to experience it from the air. We were scheduled for full island tour but were told Haleakala was completely socked in. We were offered a reschedule or the comparable West Maui/Molokai. Haven driven the crater the day before and experienced the same thing we chose the later. We were NOT disappointed! The views were amazing and the waterfalls and backside of Molokai are absolutely stunning. Our pilot was Cameron. He was very knowledgeable, funny and personable. It was like having a friend show you around the island. The whole staff was professional, pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend Air Maui.

The Haleakala crater is probably one of the trickiest areas here to see weather wise so although the original route didn't work out I am so glad Cameron was able to show you a great time on Molokai instead! Thank you again for flying with us and for the recommendation. Aloha~

This was our first helicopter tour and it will not be the last! The views seen from the helicopter are unlike anything else we have seen. Air Maui was welcoming and very knowledgeable. Additionally Captain Kirk was the best! Cant wait to go back and see them again.

One of Maui’s most worthwhile activities and a true bucket list item is taking a helicopter ride. We hadn’t booked a trip in advance, but decided to go at the last minute with Air Maui. I am so thankful that we did, as it was one of the most memorable and incredible travel experiences I’ve had. We took the West Maui and Molokai tour which flies over the West Maui mountains and across the Pailolo Channel to fly along the sea cliffs and waterfalls of Molokai. The pilots at Air Maui make playlists that are perfectly synchronized with the flight plan, playing dramatic music as you descend to the largest sea cliffs in the world or cross over a volcanic crater. You can take the whole journey home on video too! If budget is an issue, you can book on the day of as a single rider for as low as $100 per person rather than the usual $330 cost.
