Come experience the California coast line on a private boat with your family, friends or intimate group. We are the only charter that offers both whale / dolphin watching with fishing. This trip is great for beginner fishermen and / or kids alike! We will not make it too difficult and will provide all the tackle and equipment necessary to make it a great day for all to enjoy!

We really enjoyed our trip w Will. Such a better experience than a big boat. My son had a blast. We saw lots of dolphins and then fished for a bit. Great time on the water

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to go whale and dolphin watching with Off the Grid. We had the extraordinary opportunity to go out on a private tour. The boat was special, it was very safe but smaller than the large big company boats, giving us the chance to get a close look at the 50+ dolphins that came to play and swim alongside the boat. While William positioned us as best possible to see wildlife, we didn't see whales (that is a matter of fate), we saw many dolphins, birds, and a sea lion! The Captain is professional, knowledgable, and an overall very likeable person to spend time with out on the water. He even suggested we move up our reservation time to earlier in the day based on the weather - which turned out to be fantastic for us. I'd highly recommend this unique opportunity to get out on the Pacific and see what's there. When we return, we'll be going out with Off the Grid.

Its been a few weeks, but wanted to ensure I wrote this review and tell Captain Will thanks again for the great trip. First - Will was able to confirm a quick fishing trip on short notice and we agreed to make it work at bit later in the afternoon. We met and after a stop to get bait we were quickly catching fish. Will was informative, helpful and patient with 2 kids and 4 adults on board. We moved a few times to stay in areas where the fish were biting and he also stopped and pointed out countless pods of dolphins. I checked the reviews before booking - and I'm so happy we were able to make it work! Don't overthink this decision - Captain will is the guy you want to go with for a private fishing/dolphin/whale tour. We never felt uncomfortable and his boat had plenty of space for all of us. Oh, and If you book with Will, ask him about the guy with a metal wallet that ended up at the bottom of the ocean....
