Our cocktail tour! From the mill to the still, whiskey has been a cornerstone in Pittsburgh's history. Come downtown for our whiskey tour where you will discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. Begin and end your tour in style with a Prohibition cocktail at the Ritual House and an Old Fashioned at the Rebel Room. As we walk the streets of Downtown, along iconic architecture, you'll learn about the violent Whiskey Rebellion in Pittsburgh, hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, and how Prohibition affected the region.

**Please note: This is NOT a bar crawl but a whiskey history tour that includes two handcrafted cocktails. This event is 21+ only, no minors please.

The owner is a nice Scottish fellow who is passionate about his whiskey and Pittsburgh. Knows the city and history well. He has an engaging personality and was pleasant to deal with. Would recommend for tourists or people who live in the area and who want to have some tipple and learn about some fun history of the city. There are a few bathroom and warm up breaks if doing the tour in the winter months.

Fun time with new friends! John was a fantastic tour guide with much knowledge of Pittsburgh history and whiskey. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys learning in a casual environment.

The tour guide, Corrie, made this trip! She was informative, funny, and enthusiastic! Generous pours of whiskey, while learning about what’s a whiskey, bourbon, rye, etc. Very cool and creative tie-ins to pittsburghs role in whiskey history
