We had a great day with New Wave Adventures. The operation is well run , the dry suits were in great shape and our guide Owen was funny, friendly, and did a great job navigating and pointing out all the sights. He let my son steer for a bit which he LOVED and also let him jump in and hang off the side for a bit. We would have done the Canyon tour but my son was too young but we still had fun and Owen steered us through some rapids and we got plenty splashed (on request!), which the kids found thrilling enough ! The scenery was beautiful and we saw a moose on the edge of the river. Definitely recommend if you think you're maybe not up for the more wild trip !

Of course I was excited to float the river. What I didn’t expect was how great the staff would be. I was treated like a friend. The staff was telling stories and joking around with everyone. The float was great! We even saw a moose. The dry suits were clean and the equipment in great condition. A very smooth and pleasurable experience!

Rafting the Nenana was a wonderful experience! New Wave did a great job, they are professional, efficient and fun! The guide made us feel like part of the family and we got to see a moose! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Denali.
