Our ride was cancelled due to fog. Unfortunately, we were only informed at the point of pickup, which meant that we had to get up early, get dressed, and show up at the shuttle pickup point, only to be told the ride wasn't happening. I realize this isn't within the company's control but I wish they could just offer a ride the next day. They don't have any other takeoff times the same day, and their slots the next day were all booked. Since the ride happens so early in the morning we had made a weekend trip to Napa and stayed at a local hotel just for this ride, and were disappointed that it didn't happen with no way to rebook.

Thanks Abhijee for your feedback. As you mentioned we are weather dependent and while we want nothing more than to go fly, have fun and make money, your safety is always our first priority and we will not fly when the conditions are not safe. That said, on most days when it's foggy in the Napa Valley we have an alternate flight location that guests are invited to join us at. It can add a little time to your day but it's a beautiful flight and always a lot of fun. As for next day availability, that's a tough one. When we do have space, guests who were previously weathered out get priority but when we are already completely sold out, there's unfortunately not much we can do. I see you were booked through Viator, please reach out to Viator directly and they will refund you. I hope you get better weather the next time you decide to go ballooning. Please do remember that ballooning is weather dependent.
