While some of Carmel’s wine tasting rooms welcome children, this tour isn’t recommended for children.
While food isn’t included in the tour, our seasoned local guides can make countless restaurant recommendations after the tour concludes. We certainly recommend you have lunch before joining us.

Toby is a great tour leader and we really enjoyed his history of Carmel and of the wineries and wines in the area.

Our welcoming , friendly and fun tour guide Toby took us on a 3 hour experience that was fantastic. Toby gave us an insight into Carmel-by-the-Sea history on our journey to visit 3 fabulous tasting rooms. The wines were exceptional and Toby was extremely knowledgeable throughout. We would highly recommend this experience.

My girlfriend (birthday girl) and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Carmel with Andi, our tour guide, despite the heavy rain. We easily found Andi at the top of the steps of the event center, parked and started our walking. Andi was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the town and stopped at several spots to point out buildings, murals, historical spots and more. We were very pleased with her choice of tasting rooms and she may have persuaded my girlfriend to drink more white whine. What we really liked about Andi was that she was professional, engaging and was an excellent listener. We didn't get a chance to purchase any wine as we were on a tight timeframe to get back to Santa Cruz for more birthday fun. One suggestion would be to purchase the wine at the tasting rooms, leave it there while the tour continues and then go back and pick it up. Highly recommend Carmel Wine & Wandering Tours! Great time!!
