t the 140-acre Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, jaws drop in awe-even those of longtime Alaskans. AWCC’s mission is to provide refuge for orphaned, injured and ill animals-those that can’t survive in the wild. The center also educates visitors about Alaska’s Wildlife.

Amateur photographers have the opportunity to take award winning photographs of animals displayed in their natural surroundings.

The tour was amazing! We got to see wildlife animals in the reserve, it was a unique experience. Our tour guide Matthew was very helpful, and so understanding. We drove from Fairbanks to Anchorage for this tour, we weren’t able to make it on time due to the snow, and Matthew went out of his way for us to still experience the tour! Thank you a million, We are looking forward having more tours with you guys!

This tour was absolutely amazing! The views were incredible and the wildlife conservation center was a highlight. We got to see moose, bear, lynx, wolves and other animals that had been rescued from various situations in the wild and now live there. Matt was our tour guide and was really wonderful. He was a wealth of information and gave us a ton of information about the area, the history, the wildlife, etc. in a way that was easy to understand, educational and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour and Matt as your guide!
