Our Streets and Sweets walking tour combines a passion for sweets with an appreciation of art that is off the beaten track, away from the hot spots where most tourists flock to. In between bites at some of Miami’s best dessert shops, we will tour some of Wynwood’s most interesting, colorful street art. You have plenty of photo opportunities in front of these mind blowing murals created by artists from around the world. My partner and I went on the Streets and Sweets desserts tour with Alex as our tour guide and had SUCH a great time. The start of the tour was like a 5 min Lyft ride from the Miami Briteline station, so very convenient to get to, and it was a very entertaining and enjoyable 2.5hr walking tour where we got to look at the awesome street art of Wynwood while exploring unique spots to get treats you just can't get anywhere else. We visited a gourmet doughnut shop, a cute ice cream place, and a chocolate shop that I can't stop thinking about. We got to try samples of flavors at the latter two places, and the price of our tour paid for one dessert for each of us at each stop. If you get extra things to take with you like souvenirs or iced coffee like I did, that's additional out of pocket, which was worth it because everything was delicious. Alex was a very knowledgeable tour guide who taught us about some of the history of Miami and the street art we were passing by, and while the paths we took were winding through the neighborhoods, I never felt lost or unsafe. We also went on a weekday so I feel like some of these places weren't very crowded, which was good. This was a very fun and informative tour, and I have already been recommending it to friends of mine who are going to be in the area soon. Thanks for showing us a good time, Alex!
