When visiting Boston, the Freedom Trail is a must-do activity, but why not see historic sites while drinking beer? Join Ye Olde Tavern Tours to see 10 sites on the Freedom Trail-including the site of the Boston Massacre and the Old State House-and grab a drink at 3 historic taverns. Beer and/or hard cider is included in the ticket price, so all you need to do is show up ready for fun.

Our guests want a unique and memorable way to learn about Boston's revolutionary (and drunken) history and for the past ten years, we have delivered. Our guides are expertly-trained historians who are also incredibly personable. Our founder, owner, and frequent tour guide has a PhD in American history and is a two-time author. We know our stuff and are passionate about sharing the most interesting stories.

We cap each tour at 12 people to provide an intimate experience. Ye Olde Tavern Tours is the most fun and social way to experience Boston!

Our guide, Kristen, was phenomenal. Knowledgeable, fun, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and a walking Boston revolutionary encyclopedia. We had 3 generations on the tour, 74, 44, and 22, and we all had a great time at the historic sites, pubs, and listening to Kristen. I highly recommend. I would go again in a heartbeat. HUZZAH!!!!!

Kelly was a great tour guide--- we had fun and learned so much- we were the oldest (59 & 63) and we had a ball with the younger crowd! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone (of legal age, of course :) )
