Yosemite Full Day Small Group High Country / Mariposa Tour

Take a tour that lets you immerse yourself in the park. Our guides are master naturalists, botanists, geologists, historians, and - most importantly - relentlessly curious! This is not just a sightseeing tour, it's a day all about learning and connection.

This tour includes short hikes to Taft Point and the Fissures and Sentinel Dome, a visit to Glacier Point, and a short hike in Mariposa Grove either at the start or end of the day. You'll be covering about 6 miles in total throughout the day on mild to moderate trails and will be taking in huge diversity of landscapes - many of which include 360 views of the park from above.

Groups are capped at 8 participants. If you're booking more than 4 spots, please inquire about a private tour. If we do not meet the minimum number of spots booked, registrants will be offered an option to make the tour private for an additional charge or cancel for a full refund.

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias

Spend some time wandering among some of the largest living organisms on the planet. With our guides, you'll go deep into learning about these amazing trees and how they've adapted to live in this very special place.

Taft Point

We'll hike out to Taft Point, a short hike that affords absolutely amazing views of the Yosemite Valley. The last part of our hike will truly test your nerve as you step over the fissures - massive cracks in the granite under our feet - and then walk right up to the edge of the vertical cliff face. Not feeling like testing your fear of heights? No sweat, you can hang back and take in the views far from the edge!

Sentinel Dome

Our next stop is a hike up Sentinel Dome. Most of the hike is a mild uphill, but the last few hundred feet is a scramble to the top of this unique formation. You'll certainly feel on top of the world when you get there, though, and see the 360 degree views as you look down on features like Yosemite Falls and El Capitan!

I had a great time on the Yosemite national park tour! Malo was a wonderful tour guide! She had great knowledge of the park and kept us laughing too throughout the day. She also customised the itinerary to people in the tour group (we all only had one day in the park so she squeezed in another stop on the tour so we could make the most of it). A stunning area, well worth it!!

We had a great time with Malo at Yosemite. Malo is extremely expert and knows the area and trials very well. We walked a lot and visited all the park in the one day, visiting the main areas and famous points. She was amazing!!! W e love it a lot! Definetly worth it! :-)

I had a great day with my boyfriend Marco in Yosemite thanks to our amazing guide Malo! We did beautiful trails to Taft Point, Sentinel Dome and Mariposa Groove. Malo took care of everything and she explained to us all the natural secrets of this beautiful National Park! I really recommend this experience!
